Your new companyHays is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the delivery team on one of Western Australia's most significant urban developments.
If you have 5+ years experience as a structural engineer within high rise or tower projects this could be for you.
This landmark $4B Burswood project will be composed of 30 high-rise towers alongside a large-scale retail and lifestyle precinct, setting a new benchmark for integrated mixed-use developments in Australia.
This role offers exposure to complex, multi-tower staging, large structural packages, and high-profile stakeholder environments.

Your new roleLead the planning, coordination, and delivery of major structural and high-rise packagesWork closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and design consultants to drive the program and technical outcomes.Oversee subcontractor performance across concrete structures, vertical builds, and core worksManage and review design documentation, ensuring constructability and complianceDrive program, cost, and quality outcomes across the assigned scope.Coordinate interfaces across multiple towers and precinct infrastructureImplement and maintain high standards in safety, QA,
and risk managementMentor and support Project Engineers and Site Engineers within the team.
What you'll need to succeedDemonstrated experience as a Senior Project Engineer on large-scale high rise/ tower commercial construction projects (preferably with Tier 1 or 2 contractors)Strong background delivering high-rise developments (15+ storeys preferred)Extensive knowledge of structural packages (concrete/steel framed towers)Proven ability to manage complex staging and multi-building developmentsStrong commercial acumen and subcontractor management experienceExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsRelevant tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil/Structural or equivalent)
