The Role
The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for the authorisation and issue of Work Permits for Murrin Murrin Operations Processing Plant.
You will be responsible for:
Ensuring permits are prepared and remain compliant with our procedures throughout the permit to work processConfirming that hazards and controls are clearly defined and signed off by authorised personnelThe preparation of work permits and assigning of Isolation Lists are specific to the scope of workLiaising with internal stakeholders to ensure the isolation of equipment is undertaken safelyEnsuring JSEA's / Work Instruction's / Team Based Risk Assessments (TBRAs) have been received from the Permit AcceptorAuthorising the issue of Permits and Certificates
About You




This role would suit a highly organised and customer focused professional looking to develop their career within mining.
You will also have:
Previous experience working in a similar role and environmentExposure to hazard identification and management (advantageous)An understanding of isolations, P&IDs;, work permit processes, WHS requirements, legislation and risk assessment processes (advantageous)The ability to coordinate with multiple people across departmentsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Clear understanding of integrated management systems, word processing, presentations and spread sheets
