As the Norseman Gold Project continues to grow, we are seeking experienced
Senior Mining Engineers
to join our Technical Services team and play a key role in the success of our underground operations.
These are exciting opportunities to contribute to strategic growth initiatives, and be part of a collaborative team focused on delivering safe, efficient and sustainable mining outcomes.
About the Role
You'll play a critical role in mine design, planning, scheduling and optimisation while working closely with operational teams to deliver production targets and drive continuous improvement.
This role is ideally suited to a capable mining engineer looking to broaden their experience, take ownership of key projects, and contribute to the ongoing growth of the Norseman Gold Project.
Key Responsibilities
Review and optimise short, medium and long term mine plans.
Prepare and manage production schedules and forecasts.
Deliver practical mine designs.
Monitor and analyse mining performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Support budgeting, life of mine planning and strategic growth initiatives.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to Graduate and Mining Engineers.
Work closely with Operations, Geology,
Survey and Contracting teams to maximise productivity and value.
Champion safe and effective mining practices throughout the operation.
About You
Degree qualified in Mining Engineering.
Significant experience in underground mining operations.
Strong mine planning and scheduling experience.
Proficiency with mine design and planning software.
Strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills.
Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
A proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Previous leadership or mentoring experience will be highly regarded.
