Job Description
LM≷ Construction Pty Ltd The Building Construction Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising day-to-day construction activities across residential, commercial, and civil projects.
The role involves overseeing site operations, monitoring construction progress, coordinating subcontractors and trades, inspecting completed works, and ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with project plans, Australian building standards, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements, and company procedures.
Working closely with Project Managers, engineers, clients, and site personnel, the Building Construction Supervisor supports the timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
Work locations may vary depending on project requirements, and the role may involve working across different construction sites as directed by the employer.

Monitoring construction progress to ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications and quality standards.
Coordinating and supervising subcontractors, tradespeople and labourers to achieve project milestones.
Reviewing construction drawings, specifications and project schedules to ensure accurate implementation.
Assisting project managers with planning, resource allocation and workflow coordination.




Monitoring the use of construction materials, plant and equipment to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.
Conducting regular site inspections and implementing
Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
Identifying construction issues and coordinating practical solutions to minimise project delays.
Liaising with clients, consultants, engineers and suppliers regarding project progress and site requirements.
Maintaining accurate site records, progress reports and compliance documentation.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance construction quality, productivity and safety performance.
Qualification & experience
At least 1 year of relevant experience in construction site supervision or coordination Diploma in Building and Construction or a related field (preferred) Strong understanding of construction processes and site operations Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications White Card (required) Strong organisational and communication skills Reliable, safety-focused, and able to supervise teams effectively Registration or licensing may be required depending on state regulations About Company LM≷ Construction Pty Ltd is an Australian construction company specialising in steel fixing, bridge construction, precast concrete installation, road and civil construction, and labour hire services.
