The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced and motivated
Biomedical Engineer, Biomedical Technician or Electronic Technician
to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role involving service, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment in various clinical environments.
The ideal candidate is technically skilled, adaptable, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and safety testing on medical devices
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and biomedical equipment
Install and test recent medical devices in clinical settings
Conduct routine inspection and compliance testing in accordance with Australian Standards
Liaise with clinical staff to coordinate service access
Travel of up to 2,000 km/month may be required (vehicle use reimbursed)
What You'll Bring
Qualifications in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Technician, Electronics Technician, or related field with an interest in the healthcare space (Tertiary, Technical, or Trade –
mandatory
)
Previous experience in the biomedical field (
preferred
)
Current, unrestricted driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Strong understanding of Australian Standards for medical equipment
Good computer skills (hardware and software)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 25 kg)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A proactive, self-motivated approach with a commitment to quality service
Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia (e.g. Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa)
Proof of double COVID-19 vaccination (required for work in healthcare facilities)
