Council has an exciting opportunity for an experienced GIS Project Specialist to join our high performing Information Technology department to develop modern GIS applications, streamline processes and workflows through automation and contribute to the continuous improvement of Council's spatial technology environment for our business and the community.
This exciting role will:
Provide technical assistance and guidance in the design and development of Council's GIS systems and services.
Drive continuous improvement in the GIS and services, including the use of FME to support spatial data integration, automation and work optimisation.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, partners and suppliers to achieve continuous improvement in the GIS and services
Identify and drive business change to ensure maximum efficiency is delivered through the GIS system
Document application design, technical solutions, code, scripts and FME workflow logic.

LET'S HEAR ABOUT YOU
Our ideal candidate is a motivated and customer focused GIS professional with strong technical expertise in GIS platforms and automation.
You will have working knowledge of the ESRI suite of products including ArcGIS Online, Pro, Experience Builder, Field Maps, Survey123 and FME Form/Flow
You are customer focused, can identify and drive business change, and develop and maintain effective working relationships collaborating cross functionally across Council.
Your strong analysis, data management,



attention to detail and delivery focus will see you succeed in this role.
You will have:
Recognised qualifications in Geographical Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent demonstrated experience
Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of the ESRI suite of products including ArcGIS Online, with a strong emphasis on Experience Builder, Field Maps and Survey123.
Experience using FME Form/Flow to support spatial data transformation and automation
Demonstrated experience in analysing business problems, and identifying and implementing appropriate GIS solutions
Demonstrated ability to analyse and integrate GIS applications with database and web applications using automation and scripting
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

This position provides:
Competitive salary $105,134 to $122,182 per annum + 12% superannuation
Commencing salary set in line with skills and experience with annual reviews available to support movement through the salary range
35-hour week with versatile working hours and nine-day fortnight
