Fox Personnel have been appointed by one of our customers to assist with recruitment for a Powder Coater.
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Powder Coater to join a busy production team.
You'll be responsible for coating products to a high standard, ensuring quality and consistency across every job, and working closely with the wider production and procurement team.
You'll report to the Team Leader and Production Manager, and liaise with all Production and Procurement staff.
Key Responsibilities
Liaise with the Team Leader on the schedule of products and general workshop projects requiring coating
Perform final inspection of each product for quality purposes prior to coating processes
Complete coating and baking tasks as assigned, relevant to product style and material, including hanging and preparation of orders
Ensure all products are coated to the specified colour/s on the job order and to Australian Standard
Complete final quality inspection on each job relevant to the powder coat work centre (post job completion)




Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times, carrying out duties in a safe and orderly manner
Follow all relevant Quality Assurance and Work Instructions in line with the Company's Quality Management System (ISO ****)
Assist the Quality Assurance Officer with batch testing and recording of completed products for correct coating thickness
Contribute to continuous improvement through the Chance For Improvement process
Role Requirements
Sound understanding and interpretation of powder coating processes, delivering to Australian Standards
Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
Confident, professional manner - self-driven and enthusiastic
Additional information
Coat and bake products to specified colours and Australian Standards
Perform quality inspections before and after coating processes
Assist with batch testing to ensure correct coating thickness
