The Opportunity
We are an expanding its Behaviour Support network and is seeking experienced, independently practising Behaviour Support Practitioners to provide Positive Behaviour Support services across Australia.
This opportunity is exclusively for practitioners who hold current registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner and are confident delivering Behaviour Support services independently.
This is not a graduate, entry-level or supervised role.
Applicants must have demonstrated experience completing Functional Behaviour Assessments, Behaviour Support Plans and NDIS-compliant documentation.
About the Role
As a contractor, you may provide services including:
Functional Behaviour Assessments
Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans
Behaviour Support implementation and review
Restrictive Practice reduction strategies
Stakeholder coaching and capacity building
Risk assessment and clinical recommendations
Collaboration with participants, families, schools, support coordinators, providers and allied health professionals
NDIS-compliant documentation and reporting
Mandatory Requirements
Applicants
must
have:
Current registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the
NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
Valid NDIS Commission Behaviour Support Practitioner registration number
Demonstrated experience independently completing Functional Behaviour Assessments and Behaviour Support Plans
Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support and NDIS Commission requirements
Relevant tertiary qualification
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Working with Children Check, where required
National Police Check
Australian Business Number
Qualified Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
Current Australian Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicle, where community-based services are provided




Applicants who do not currently hold Behaviour Support Practitioner registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission will not be considered.
Contractor Arrangement
This is a genuine independent contractor opportunity.
Rates commence from
$****** per hour
, with higher rates negotiated depending on:
NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration level
2 Years of Behaviour Support experience
Demonstrated clinical expertise
Scope of practice and capacity to manage complex referrals
Contractors invoice via ABN and are responsible for their own taxation, superannuation, insurances and professional development.
