(Full-Time)
Salary: $80,000 per annum + Superannuation
Location:
Townsville City, QLD
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards.
Plan menus and develop new dishes in consultation with management.
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during food preparation and service.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety regulations.
Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation.
Order, receive and manage kitchen stock and supplies.
Minimise food wastage and control kitchen costs.
Maintain a clean,



organised and efficient kitchen environment.
Essential Requirements
Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
At least
2 years of full-time relevant experience
as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, menu planning and food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Availability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.
