NATIONWIDE WORKFORCE Nationwide workforce (Recruiter) on Behalf of GENERAL & MINING HAULAGE PTY LTD Business: GENERAL & MINING HAULAGE PTY LTD T/A GM TRUCKINGS Location: High Wycombe, ****, Perth, Western Australia Position: Truck Driver (8 positions available) including 2 HR driver and 6 MC driver Permanent Full-Time Min 38hrs/Week Salary: $100,*********,000 per annum plus superannuation GENERAL & MINING HAULAGE PTY LTD, trading as GM Truckings seeking to hire permanent full-time staff of 8 new driver to smoothly run the fleet and to avoid reliability on self employed workers and to support the ongoing operation and expansion of its transport fleet.
The business primarily provides general and mining haulage services , transporting freight, equipment and materials to mining operations as well as undertaking local and regional transport work.
The Truck Driver positions are critical to the company's day-to-day operations.
As GM Truckings continues to service mining-sector clients and local transport requirements, the business requires a stable and reliable team of permanent drivers to ensure vehicles are operated efficiently, customer delivery schedules are met, and contractual commitments are fulfilled.
The recruitment of eight permanent full-time drivers will also assist the business in reducing its current reliance on self-employed and subcontracted drivers.
Building an in-house workforce will provide greater operational consistency, improve workforce planning and availability, and enable the company to maintain better control over safety, service quality and delivery standards.
The successful drivers will be responsible for safely transporting goods, materials and equipment between depots, customer sites, mining locations and other designated destinations.
They will be expected to operate heavy vehicles professionally, complete required pre-start and safety checks, comply with fatigue-management and road-safety requirements, maintain appropriate transport records,



and ensure loads are secured and delivered safely and on schedule.

Task & responsibilities Truck drivers need to perform the following duties but not limited to : Transport bulk loads, machinery, and freight to/from mining sites and depots.
Operate HR/MC trucks for long-haul and remote site deliveries.
Complete vehicle checks, ensure compliance with safety and fatigue regulations.
Handle freight paperwork, delivery manifests, and trip logs.
Collaborate with dispatchers to ensure efficient route and load planning.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and follow company procedures at all times.
Perform pre trip inspections Communicate professionally with clients and customers.
Safely position the vehicle for loading and unloading Assist in loading and unloading heavy mining machinery Comply with heavy vehicle, fatigue-management, chain-of-responsibility and workplace safety requirements.
Maintain vehicles, trailers and equipment in a clean, safe and serviceable condition.
Qualification & experience Requirements: Valid HR and MC truck license (MC preferred for majority of operations).
Truck Driving course certificate II or III (will be preferred) to check the eligibility to drive Minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience ,



preferably in haulage or mining-related transport.
Have experience with heavy vehicle combinations for MC driver and HR experince of HR (Heavy Rigid driver) Strong communication skills and ability to handle documentation accurately.
Awareness of WA road laws , fatigue management, and safety protocols.
Full Australian work rights required.
