Cook / Chef | Full-TimeThe Foggy Lantern | Murray Bridge, South AustraliaThe Foggy Lantern is preparing to open its doors as Murray Bridge's newest riverside café and dining destination, and we're looking for a passionate and experienced Cook or Chef to join our team.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new hospitality venue from the beginning, helping shape a kitchen that celebrates quality food, fresh produce and genuine country hospitality.Salary: $75,000–$90,000 plus superannuation (depending on experience and the position offered).
About the RoleAs a valued member of our kitchen team, you will:Prepare and present menu items to a consistently high standard.Assist with menu development and seasonal menu updates.Maintain exceptional food quality, portion control and presentation.Manage stock levels, ordering and kitchen inventory.Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.Oversee daily kitchen preparation and service operations.Thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.Support, mentor and train junior kitchen staff where required.Receive, check and correctly store deliveries.Contribute to a positive,
