The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for multiple Mental Health Clinician roles within a public hospital in Regional Victoria, across:
- Crisis Assessment & Response Team
- Intake & Triage
- Case Management
- Youth Mental Health
- HOPE (Hospital Outreach Post-Suicidal Engagement) Clinic
This is a full time permanent opportunity, offering the chance to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering recovery-oriented, trauma-informed care.
About the Role
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments & clinical formulations
- Deliver case management and structured therapeutic interventions
- Provide crisis assessment, risk formulation & acute care management
- Coordinate care with consumers, families, GPs & community services
- Contribute to clinical governance and MDT reviews
You’ll play a key role in supporting individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness, helping them achieve recovery, independence, and improved wellbeing.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in Community Mental Health (AU/NZ preferred)
- Strong background in Case management or Triage & intake or Crisis / acute mental health
- Experience in risk assessment, care planning & clinical decision-making
- Confident working autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for recovery-oriented, person-centred care
