Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing specialist inpatient and outpatient Gastroenterology services
- Performing diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy
- Managing a broad range of complex gastrointestinal and liver disorders
- Supervising and mentoring Registrars, Resident Medical Officers and medical students
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical governance activities
- Contributing to service development, quality improvement and research initiatives
- Delivering outreach clinics to regional and remote communities, including occasional overnight travel
- Participating in the consultant on-call roster
