Join the Vegetation Management Unit and help manage Queensland's natural environment for the benefit of all Queenslanders. As part of a collaborative statewide team, you'll provide advice to landholders, stakeholders and the public on matters relating to Queensland's Vegetation Management Framework.
You'll assess applications under relevant legislation, undertake field and desktop assessments, prepare reports and recommendations, and contribute to compliance, policy implementation and business improvement activities. The role involves building productive relationships with customers and stakeholders while supporting responsible natural resource management outcomes across Queensland.
We're looking for someone with strong analytical and communication skills who can interpret legislation, assess information and provide explicit, practical advice. Experience working with geographical information systems will be highly regarded.
A current C or CA class driver's licence is required. Travel, including overnight travel, may be required.
