Trade Apprenticeships with Pacific Marine Group - 2027

PMG is seeking motivated individuals to kick-start their trade careers through an apprenticeship beginning in January 2024. Opportunities are available within PMG's Maintenance Department in the following fields:

- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (Diesel Fitter) - 1st, 2nd and 3rd year
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitter & Turner) -1st, 2nd and 3rd year

By joining PMG as an apprentice, you'll gain valuable hands‑on experience across a variety of fields, equipment, and operations as part of your training. As you progress, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to marine construction projects undertaken by the company.





Our competency‑based apprenticeship program combines on‑the‑job practical learning with off‑site training through TAFE Queensland or TecNQ. Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll rotate across different operational areas to broaden your skills and achieve the best possible learning outcomes for your trade.

The apprenticeship is a fixed‑term position for the length of your apprenticeship, and you will report to the relevant department supervisor. Successful candidates will be expected to complete practical tasks as part of their apprenticeship requirements and participate in projects as needed.
