Eaglehawk Road & Epsom Vet Clinic are looking for a qualified and experienced veterinary nurse to join our team on a casual basis. This is a great chance for a confident nurse who enjoys being hands-on with patients, supporting vets in consults and surgery, and contributing to a friendly, well-established clinic team.

About the role
This is a varied nursing role, with a mix of surgical, hospital, treatment and client-care responsibilities, including:
- Assisting veterinarians with consultations and procedures
- Monitoring anaesthetics and supporting surgical workflows
- Providing high-quality nursing care to hospital and day patients
- Performing blood collection, catheter placement, pathology, radiology and general nursing tasks
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring strong communication across the team
- Supporting client communication and helping provide a positive experience for pets and their owners
- Helping maintain a clean, organised and efficient clinical environment
About you
We’re looking for a qualified veterinary nurse who is ready to step into a new role and become a valued part of our team. The ideal person will have previous experience in a veterinary clinic and be confident across general nursing duties. Important qualities include someone who:
- Holds a Cert IV in veterinary nursing
- Is confident with anaesthetic monitoring, patient handling and general treatment duties
- Communicates well, works calmly under pressure and enjoys being part of a supportive team
- Brings a kind, professional approach to patient care, client service and teamwork
- Casual role with potential to move to permanent part time after probation
