About the Role

As a Casual Bus Driver, you'll play an important role in representing Austrek Tours on the road. You'll be responsible for safely transporting passengers while delivering the friendly, reliable service our customers have come to expect.

What You'll Be Doing

- Safely operate buses in accordance with road rules, transport regulations, and company procedures.

- Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming experience for passengers.

- Conduct pre-start and end-of-shift vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.

- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, including those requiring additional support.

- Process fare payments accurately and professionally.

- Respond calmly and appropriately to operational incidents and emergency situations.

- Maintain high standards of presentation for both yourself and your vehicle.

- Represent the Austrek Tours brand with professionalism and pride.

What We're Looking For

- Current Australian Driver Licence with a minimum MR or HR class.





- Strong commitment to safety and responsible driving practices.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- A friendly, approachable, and professional attitude.

- Reliability, punctuality, and a solid work ethic.

- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, early mornings, and evenings.

- Knowledge of the local area is highly regarded.

- Current Driver Authority (or willingness to obtain one) is desirable.
