Waterline Boathouse is looking for a reliable, energetic and friendly Junior All-Rounder to join our busy waterfront seafood restaurant and boat hire business in Forster.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, working with people, and wants to gain experience in both hospitality and recreational tourism.
About the Role
As a Junior All-Rounder, you'll assist our team with a variety of tasks, including:
- Delivering meals to tables
- Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables
- Washing dishes and maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area
- Assisting with takeaway orders
- Helping with boat, kayak, stand-up paddle board and Aqua Trike hire
- Assisting customers with fitting life jackets and preparing equipment
- Providing basic safety information before hire
- Restocking supplies and keeping work areas clean and organised
- General cleaning and end-of-day duties
No two days are the same, so you'll need to be happy pitching in wherever required.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Friendly, positive and enjoys working as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Happy working both indoors and outdoors in a waterfront environment
- Physically capable of moving and preparing hire equipment
- Available to work weekends, school holidays and public holidays (this is an essential requirement)
Experience
No previous experience is required. Full training will be provided. We value a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic above all else.
