Gunnedah Leather Processors (GLP) is growing — and we’re looking for a motivated Production Supervisor to join our operational leadership team.

You don’t need tannery experience to apply. If you’ve supervised teams in manufacturing, agriculture, food processing, meatworks, logistics, or similar hands-on environments — or if you simply know you can lead people, drive performance, and uphold safety — we want to hear from you.

About the Role – What You’ll Be Doing

Daily Leadership

- Lead, coach and support operators to achieve daily production targets

- Maintain high standards of safety, teamwork and motivation

- Assist with onboarding and on-the-job training for new staff

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure all tasks follow WHS and Safe Work Procedures

- Monitor machine safety,



PPE compliance and housekeeping

- Escalate hazards, incidents or near misses promptly

Production Oversight

- Monitor throughput, workflow and equipment performance

- Respond to issues and liaise with Maintenance for breakdowns

- Record shift production data accurately

Quality Control

- Conduct visual checks and ensure products meet specification

- Minimise product loss, contamination or handling errors

- Meet company hygiene and housekeeping standards

What We’re Looking For

Industry experience that’s a bonus:

Manufacturing, meat works/abattoirs, agriculture, logistics, heavy industry or similar environments.
