Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Occupational Therapist Grade 2 or 3 to join our growing team on an ongoing basis, part time or full time available (multiple positions available).

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Clinician Occupational Therapist to provide clinical leadership and coordinate the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services across designated clinical areas. Combining advanced clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, you will manage a complex caseload, support multidisciplinary care, supervise and mentor staff and students, and drive service development and quality improvement initiatives. The role of the Senior Clinical Occupational Therapist Grade 3 is to:

- Deliver advanced, evidence-based occupational therapy services, including assessment, intervention, discharge planning, and risk management for complex patient presentations.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, mentoring, and professional support to Grade 1 and 2 Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Assistants, Diversional Therapists, and students.
- Coordinate occupational therapy services within designated clinical areas, ensuring efficient service delivery, effective workload management, and achievement of patient care outcomes.
- Lead and contribute to quality improvement, research, service evaluation, policy development, and evidence-based practice initiatives to enhance clinical services.




- Foster strong multidisciplinary relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support integrated, patient-centred care.
- Support workforce development, education, and succession planning through staff training, professional development, performance support, and clinical education programs.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

- Qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration and eligibility for membership with Occupational Therapy Australia.
- Extensive clinical experience with advanced knowledge of contemporary occupational therapy practice, particularly within a hospital or complex healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervision experience, with a proven ability to support, mentor, and develop staff and students.
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary healthcare delivery, discharge planning, quality improvement, and clinical governance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and build effective professional relationships.
- Passionate about delivering patient-centred care, driving service innovation, and contributing to the ongoing growth and excellence of occupational therapy services.
