Reporting to the Senior Specialist Operational Technology, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and availability of our Operational Technology (OT) systems and communications infrastructure across our operations. This hands on site based role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, working with cutting edge technology, and collaborating closely with operational teams to support safe and efficient mining activities.

The position is available across our Leonora and Laverton operations and is offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure the availability, uptime, and performance of site-based OT systems and infrastructure
- Install and maintain onboard technology systems including but not limited to GPS guidance (HPGPS), fleet management (FMS), in vehicle monitoring (IVMS), Fatigue Monitoring, (DSS)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to OT systems,



network connectivity, data communications, and system performance from field devices through to databases and presentation layers
- Execute planned maintenance and work orders in accordance with schedules and established work instructions.
- Contribute to root cause investigations and implement solutions to improve equipment reliability and system performance
- Maintain OT and IT network segregation, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity, operational, and safety standards
- Support the deployment, maintenance, and optimisation of repeater stations, communications trailers, and RTK network infrastructure
- Work collaboratively with site operations and technical teams to deliver reliable technology solutions that support production

About You

- Motivated and technically capable professional with a passion for Operational Technology and communications systems.
- Field-based mining communications experience in-depth with knowledge of GPS systems, fleet management systems (FMS), in-vehicle monitoring systems (IVMS), collision avoidance systems (CAS), autonomy, payload management systems and related technologies and thrive in dynamic mining environments, enjoy troubleshooting complex issues, and take a proactive,



safety-first approach to your work.
- Trade qualification in Data & Voice Communications, Radio Communications, Electronics, Auto Electrical, or a related discipline
- Experience with Rajant wireless networks, DMR digital two way radio systems, and fleet management systems (highly regarded)
- Solid fault finding, diagnostic, and problem solving skills
- Working at Heights and Rigging tickets
- Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence (minimum requirement)
- Tower Rescue certification and First Aid Certificate (desirable)
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships across operational and technical teams
