L&F; Transfers is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the maintenance and performance of our modern heavy vehicle and light vehicle fleet. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who is organised, proactive and committed to safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate preventative and reactive fleet maintenance
- Schedule servicing, repairs, registrations and COIs
- Ensure fleet compliance with legislative and mine site requirements
- Manage maintenance records, work orders and compliance documentation
- Liaise with internal departments, suppliers and repair contractors
- Monitor vehicle performance and minimise downtime
- Prioritise repairs and maintenance activities
- Prepare monthly KPI and fleet performance reports
- Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement
- Travel to local depots will be required monthly on a rotating basis
About You
- Experience coordinating fleet maintenance
- Strong knowledge of heavy and light vehicle compliance and maintenance scheduling
- High level of understanding for identification and securing of parts for vehicles
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Docs
- Proficient experience with Teletrac Navman ( desirable)
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
- Ability to create strong relationships with contractors and suppliers
