About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Stream Lead - Electrical Apprenticeship to join our Registered Training Organisation (RTO) team.
This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, delivery performance, and student outcomes within AGA's Electrical Apprenticeship programs. Working closely with the Education and Training Manager, you will provide leadership and support to Trainers and Assessors, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and drive continuous improvement across the Electrical training stream.
This is an excellent chance for a training qualified who is passionate about developing apprentices, leading teams, and delivering high-quality vocational education outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of Electrical Apprenticeship pathway programs.
- Take ownership of training delivery, performance, and student outcomes against business plan targets.
- Monitor program effectiveness and implement strategies to improve quality, engagement, and completion rates.
- Support the rollout of new training initiatives, processes, and operational improvements.
Leadership & Team Support
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to Trainers and Assessors within the Electrical stream.
- Support trainers to achieve excellence in training delivery, assessment, compliance, and student engagement.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement.
Student Experience & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with the Training Manager to support student progression, retention, and overall learner experience.
- Partner with Field Officers and operational teams to ensure effective student management and support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with apprentices, employers, industry clients, and key stakeholders.
- Identify and escalate any student support, delivery, or compliance risks.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure training delivery aligns with ASQA requirements, the Standards for RTOs, and relevant regulatory obligations.
- Support moderation, validation, and continuous improvement activities within the Electrical stream.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of training materials, assessment tools, and delivery practices.
- Maintain accurate records, reporting, and documentation within the Student Management System and other compliance frameworks.
About You
You are a confident and collaborative leader with extensive vocational education experience and a strong understanding of Electrical apprenticeships. You enjoy supporting others to succeed, driving quality outcomes, and maintaining high standards of compliance and student engagement.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Relevant electrical trade qualification and industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering and assessing accredited training within an RTO environment.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating training teams.
- Strong knowledge of ASQA requirements and the Standards for RTOs.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality outcomes.
- Experience managing apprenticeship pathways or vocational training programs.
- Experience implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.
- Knowledge of apprenticeship support services and industry engagement practices.

- Valid Working with Children Check.
- National Police Check.
- Current Driver's Licence.
