ICT Project Manager - Prince 2. Agile, PMBOK - Fed Govt!

An innovative Federal Government Agency is looking to engage experienced ICT Project Managers to support the delivery of complex ICT projects across a large-scale government technology environment. The role will be responsible for planning, executing and tracking approved projects, products and initiatives, while managing stakeholders, risks, issues, benefits, dependencies and governance requirements. The ICT Project Managers will secure an initial 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options , based in Canberra, ACT with full-time onsite arrangements.

The ICT Project Manager will be responsible for but not limited to;

- Developing detailed project plans, including stakeholders, deliverables, milestones, delivery approach and dependencies
- Establishing project team structures and working closely with Directors, technical leads and delivery teams
- Managing project scope, cost, schedule, risks, issues, benefits and formal change processes
- Delivering monthly status reporting,



including financial, milestone and key delivery updates
- Preparing project artefacts including project plans, schedules, status reports, closure reports and governance documentation

The ICT Project Manager will have experience in the following:

- Experience delivering IT projects of varying size and complexity and Experience working in complex ICT environment
- PRINCE2, PMBOK or equivalent project management certification
- Ability to work across governance, reporting, risk, dependency, financial and advantages management activities
- Experience delivering secure government systems or working within complex government ICT environments will be highly regarded
- Knowledge of frameworks such as PSPF, ISM and Essential 8 will be advantageous

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced ICT Project Managers looking to join a large Federal Government program. The successful ICT Project Managers will be offered an initial 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options !
