Are you passionate about helping children and families thrive? Barnardos Australia is seeking a dedicated Social Media Coordinator to join our Engagement & Giving team in Ultimo, 2007. About the Role
As a Social Media Coordinator , you will:
- Assist the Head of Marketing Engagement and the Digital Campaigns Manager on the digital strategy for social media
- Assist with the production and written content for social media posts to engage specific target audiences
- Moderation on all social platforms and maintenance of the moderation response document
- Engagement on all social channels encouraging interaction and follower growth
- Assistance with developing ad campaigns in Facebook Business Manager using relevant objectives, targeting tools and A/B testing
- Managing, optimising and tracking performance of paid campaigns
- Reporting on paid campaign results upon completion with insights and results gained from relevant social channel analytics, Google Analytics and Power BI.
- Copywriting in Barnardos brand Tone of Voice and scheduling content on all social channels (natively and using Sprout Social)

You’ll join a team-oriented and supportive team delivering high-quality, trauma-informed services that uphold child safety, cultural safety, and family-led practice.
Skills and Experience :
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or workplace-based experience in marketing/social media/digital media.
- Experience in online, social media and communications coordination (minimum two years)
- Experience in developing and maintaining online communities
- Experience in creating and implementing social media strategies
- Up to date relevant knowledge of social media channels and best use of individual channels
- Experience running multiple ad campaigns in Business Manager, A/B ad testing, events manager and analytics analysis
- Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and communities, including a strong understanding of cultural safety, self-determination, and the historical and contemporary factors that impact Aboriginal peoples.

- Base salary: Competitive Salary
