APG Workforce are currently recruiting a skilled Boilermaker/Metal Fabricator to join our client based in Echuca.
About the role
This position is integral to the production and fabrication of high-quality structural steel for domestic and commercial buildings. As a key member of the manufacturing team, you will be responsible for carrying out welding, fabrication, and assembly tasks to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities

- Performing skilled welding, fabrication and assembly of metal components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Operating a variety of metalworking equipment, including Mig welder, grinders, power tools, oxy, plasma, bandsaws, and spray painting.

- Troubleshooting, basic maintenance, and resolving issues with machinery and equipment




- Adhering to all workplace health and safety guidelines and procedures
- Contributing to a collaborative team environment and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

- Formal trade qualifications in Boilermaking, Metal Fabrication, and/or Welding
- Current Forklift Licence
- White Card
- Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Boilermaker, Metal Fabricator, or Welder
- Strong proficiency in MIG, and other welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
