About the Role

Join our Consumer Experience team at Melbourne Teaching Health Clinics as a Practice Administrative Coordinator. Reporting to the Director, Consumer Experience and working closely with the Consumer Experience team, the PAC supports the delivery of integrated administrative, scheduling, referral, billing and consumer experience services. The role contributes to the OneMTHC approach by promoting consistent systems, processes and service standards across clinics while supporting high-quality care, education and consumer outcomes.

Essential Selection Criteria

- Demonstrated experience in a consumer-facing administrative, reception, customer service or healthcare administration role.

- Experience coordinating appointments, referrals, scheduling and administrative workflows within a clinical, healthcare,



education or similar service environment.

- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional consumer, patient or client experiences through professional, empathetic and responsive service.

- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with consumers, students, practitioners, supervisors and external stakeholders.

- Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

- High level of digital literacy, including experience using practice management systems, Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative technologies.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records, data integrity and confidentiality.

- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for service improvement and contribute to the development of more efficient and effective administrative processes.

- Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to team and organisational objectives.
