THE ROLE
This role provides administrative support to the Child Protection program in the Goulburn area.
The Child Protection Administration Officer provides a point of contact for key stakeholders from within the division,
across government and from a diverse range of organisations. Maintaining a high degree of confidentiality, the Child Protection Administration Officer is responsible for:
- maintaining financial systems and the payment of invoices
- management of records and departmental systems
- preparation of correspondence and communications
- arranging and supporting meetings and events
- inbox, calendar and mail management
- coordinating general office maintenance and supplies
- ad hoc administrative support to key executives, managers and the broader team.
An ability to be responsive and flexible to competing priorities is essential. Attention to detail and a focus on teamwork underpin success in this role as well as a demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Under general direction, provide administrative assistance with office processes using corporate information systems such as records management, financial processing, fleet management, client and staff records and recruitment processes.
- Facilitate purchases and process client expenses and maintain financial records in accordance with legislative requirements and department policy.
- Coordinate approved staff and or client accommodation and travel arrangements.
