About the role

We currently have a vacancy for a dynamic and experienced Casual/Contractor First Aid Trainer/Assessor/Instructor to join our team in order to service Shepparton and Surrounding districts . This position offers the flexibility to work around your schedule and commitments. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality first aid training and assessments to a diverse range of clients, ensuring they are equipped with the essential skills and knowledge to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Delivering engaging first aid training courses that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Conducting thorough practical and theoretical assessments to evaluate the competence of trainees
- Maintaining accurate records and providing timely feedback to trainees
- Staying up-to-date with changes in first aid guidelines and regulations,



and incorporating these into your training
- Ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for all trainees

About You

Our team of dedicated trainers and assessors are passionate about making a difference and supporting the growth and development of our community.

Along with your strong work ethic and previous experience in a similar role you'll have/be:

- A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116, TAE40110, TAE40122 or equivalent)
- A valid first aid and CPR qualification (HLTAID011 & HLTAID009 or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a first aid trainer/assessor, preferably in a vocational education or corporate training setting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire trainees
- A strong understanding of first aid principles, emergency procedures, and workplace health and safety requirements
- Full Australian work rights or permanent residency
- A adaptable and adaptable approach to meet the diverse needs of our clients
