We are seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our team at ACS Engineering in Paget, QLD. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality steel components and assemblies to support our clients' construction and industrial projects. 90% of the work is new, clean and innovative.
What you'll be doing
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate steel components and structures
- Assembling and fitting steel components according to project requirements
- Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
- Collaborating with the project team to troubleshoot and resolve any fabrication-related issues
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Fabricator, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role
- Strong skills in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Proficient in using various welding, cutting, and fabrication equipment
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Valuable problem-solving and communication skills
- Certification in "FABRICATION & WELDING", such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade, would be highly regarded
