About the Role

As the Educational Leader, you'll lead educational practice across the service while remaining actively involved in the daily program. You'll mentor educators, strengthen programming and critical reflection, and help drive continuous improvement across the service.

Working closely with the leadership team, you'll play a key role in creating engaging experiences for children while building the capability and confidence of educators.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the educational program, planning cycle and curriculum development.
- Supporting educators with programming, documentation and critical reflection.
- Mentoring team members and facilitating performance and development conversations.
- Guiding Vacation Care planning and supporting program delivery.
- Leading the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and Self-Assessment process.
- Supporting inclusion, wellbeing and behaviour guidance strategies.
- Facilitating practical onboarding and mentoring for new educators.
- Building positive relationships with children, families and the wider team.

About You

To be successful, you'll have:

- Experience in OSHC programming, planning cycles and educational documentation




- Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop educators
- A strong understanding of the NQF, NQS and My Time, Our Place.
- Experience using digital documentation platforms such as Kinderloop, OWNA or similar
- A current NSW Working with Children Check
- Current Child Protection, First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- A relevant qualification (or currently studying) in Education, Early Childhood, Children's Services or a related field will be highly regarded

Child Safeguarding

Looking for an individual that will understand, adhere to, and promote The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations (the Child Safe Standards). In your position, you will help to take action to promote child wellbeing and prevent harm to children and young people.

Child safeguarding methods include, but are not limited to:

- NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain
- Thorough screening
- Reference checks
- National criminal history check
