Client Services Officer - make a difference!
A newly created role presents as we search for a professional and resilient Client Services Officer to join BHC’s Client Services Hub. As a primary point of contact for tenants, applicants, support providers and other stakeholders, you will deliver high-quality frontline customer service across phone, email and digital enquiries, resolving matters at first contact wherever possible and ensuring every interaction is handled respectfully and efficiently. Alongside frontline customer service, you will contribute to a range of Hub activities including housing applications, applicant data management, tenancy administration, and resident engagement support.
Reporting to the Manager – Client Services Hub, this role is well suited to someone with experience in housing/community services or property management, customer service and administration, or contact centres, management related environments. We are especially interested in hearing from people in the early stages of their real estate careers, including property administrators and leasing support staff, who bring a baseline understanding of tenancy legislation and are keen to build their capability in community housing.

What we are seeking:
Experience in property management, customer service, contact centre, housing, community services, administration or a related role.
Confidence managing high volumes of enquiries across phone, email and digital channels.
Strong computer literacy, accurate data entry skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
A calm, professional and resilient approach when supporting people through complex or sensitive matters.
Experience with CRM, telephony or case management systems will be highly regarded.
Training or experience in conflict resolution or de-escalation techniques would be advantageous.
What you’ll be doing:
Client enquiries : Respond to inbound phone, email and digital enquiries through the Client Services Hub, providing accurate, respectful and timely information.
First contact resolution : Resolve enquiries wherever possible using established procedures and knowledge resources, and triage or escalate more complex matters when needed.
Housing access and allocations : Support application processing, eligibility checks, affordability assessments, applicant records, property advertising and viewing coordination.
Tenancy support : Assist tenants with routine tenancy enquiries, including rent and payment questions, correspondence, complaints and feedback processes, household changes and general tenancy information.
Administration and records : Accurately document interactions, update systems, maintain applicant and tenancy records, and support high-quality data entry and records management.
Team support : Work collaboratively across Operations, Assets, Resident and Communities, and Corporate Services, with opportunities to contribute to broader Hub activities as your skills develop.
