First Sheds is a leading supplier and installer of high-quality steel sheds throughout Canberra and the surrounding region. We're looking for a reliable, motivated team member to join our growing construction crew.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety. You'll be involved in all aspects of site preparation and external works for residential, rural and commercial shed projects.

About the Role

- Your responsibilities will include:

- Operating Bobcats, excavators and other plant equipment.

- Site cuts, earthworks and excavation.

- Demolition using machinery.

- Installing stormwater, drainage and plumbing pipework.

- Installing underground electrical conduits.

- Preparing concrete slabs and shed sites.

- Paving, retaining walls and landscaping works.

- Loading, unloading and maintaining equipment.

- Working safely and efficiently as part of a small team.

- Assisting with general construction tasks as required.

About You

- We're looking for someone who:

- Has experience operating Bobcats and excavators.

- Holds a current White Card.

- Has a current driver's licence (MR licence an advantage).

- Can read plans and work independently.

- Takes pride in producing quality workmanship.





- Is physically fit and enjoys working outdoors.

- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

- Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn.

Highly Regarded

- Excavator and skid steer tickets.

- Experience with plumbing or drainage installation.

- Experience installing underground electrical conduits.

- Landscaping or paving experience.

- Truck licence.

- Machinery maintenance experience.
