Jurassic Bark Doggy Daycare – Balaclava VIC
Jurassic Bark Doggy Daycare is a jungle daycare experience for our furry customers, unlike anything else in the Melbourne area!
We've already built a excellent team of humans who are passionate about pups, but we're putting the call out for additional experienced animal attendants or people with extensive dog experience who might be interested in joining our team.
We offer Doggy Daycare and Grooming (Monday - Friday). There may be a range of shifts available between the hours of 7am - 7pm, as either an AM or PM shift (or both if preferred).
Positions would be on a Casual basis.
Potential candidates may be called for a phone interview, and required to do 2 hour trial shift on another day.
If interested in Reception work - administrative skills and/or reception experience are highly regarded.
Please do not apply if you do not have experience in a dog daycare, kennel, veterinary, zoology, training, grooming, walking or sitting role.
Positions are not available to working holiday makers.
Essential pre-requisites for the role are:
Teamwork – You must be able to work in a team setting where all staff members are respectful, communicate well and are able to depend on each other
Communication & Customer Service – Must have sound customer service experience along with exceptional communication skills
Physical ability – This role is very physically demanding, must have a "can do" attitude and be prepared to work hands‐on with a wide range of dogs
Time management - The position is quick paced and requires everyone to be able to manage their time and priorities to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
Extensive canine behavioural knowledge
Must be comfortable with handling multiple dogs with varying sizes and temperaments
