The Opportunity
/n
We're seeking an outstanding Senior Associate to join us in our Melbourne CBD office. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new specialised practice where you'll work directly with the founding partners on complex and interesting matters and be at the 'ground level' of a new firm.
/n
Reflecting our focus on work‐life balance, this role is a genuine part‐time role (0.6 FTE), with the ability to spread the working hours to suit your schedule across 3, 4 or 5 days. There will also be the opportunity to increase your time fraction in due course, if desirable.

What You'll Do
/n
/n
- Represent clients in workplace disputes and litigation
/n
- Conduct or advise on workplace investigations
/n
- Manage and advise on complex wage remediation projects and payroll audits
/n
- Provide strategic advice on employment and compliance issues
/n
- Engage with regulators and manage regulatory investigations and prosecutions
/n/n
What We're Looking For
/n
We are looking for a candidate with strong technical ability and who is motivated by the prospect of being part of something new. This is a real chance to contribute to and shape the strategic direction of the firm.

Along with a results‐driven, positive attitude and a strong desire to succeed you will need:
/n
/n
- 6+ years PQE in employment law
/n
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills
/n
- Commercial acumen and a practical, solutions‐focused approach
/n
- Demonstrated expertise in wage and payroll issues and employment litigation
/n
- Strong technical skills with exceptional attention to detail
/n
- Admitted to practice in Australia
/n/n
