At the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, no two days are the same. As our Sales Co-ordinator, you'll work alongside an experienced sales team supporting major national conferences, international incentive groups and corporate events, while developing valuable commercial and client relationship skills.
This is more than an administration role, it's an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in venue sales, event planning and business development within one of Australia's premier event venues.

THE ROLE

You'll be a key member of the Sales team, co-ordinating a wide variety of activities that help convert opportunities into confirmed events, including:

- Preparing professional proposals, quotations and contracts for clients
- Supporting the sales process from enquiry through to confirmed booking
- Managing local market enquiries and assisting with repeat business opportunities
- Coordinating client site inspections, familiarisation programs and venue presentations
- Working closely with clients and internal departments to ensure a seamless handover to our Events team
- Maintaining our CRM and business management systems to support sales activity
- Assisting with marketing campaigns and sales initiatives to generate recent business
- Gathering client feedback and identifying future opportunities
- Attending industry events, networking opportunities and venue showcases
- Researching market trends and competitor activity to support business growth

You're someone who enjoys juggling multiple priorities, building relationships and being part of a high-performing team.
You'll bring:

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems
- A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same
