About the Role

At Metcash, we're transforming the way our corporate teams leverage technology to deliver great business outcomes. We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Corporate Applications team and play a key role in supporting projects and business improvement initiatives across People & Culture, Finance and other corporate platforms.

What You'll Be Doing

- Partnering with business and technology stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
- Gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitating workshops, meetings and requirement discussions.
- Mapping current and future state processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting solution design, testing, user acceptance activities and business readiness.
- Managing requirement traceability, risks, issues and dependencies throughout delivery.
- Contributing to training, communications and adoption activities to ensure successful outcomes.

What You'll Bring Essential Skills & Experience

- Solid attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities
- A proactive mindset and motivation to explore AI, automation and new technologies to improve ways of working and business outcomes
- Enthusiasm, curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn and grow
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements,



processes and user stories
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency across the Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and agile delivery environments

Nice to Have (But Not Essential)

Experience with any of the following would be advantageous, but is not a requirement:

- Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) tools and processes
- Experience working within portfolio, project and agile delivery frameworks
- Azure Dev Ops (ADO)
- Microsoft Dynamics / D365
- HRIS platforms and related business systems
