The Role
Our firm is seeking a motivated and capable Family Lawyer to join our dynamic team. You will work across a broad range of family law matters, including divorce and separation, parenting disputes, property settlements and wills and estates.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters from initial consultation through to resolution using practice management systems such as LEAP.
- Work closely with Principal Solicitors on complex matters, receiving guidance and contributing to case strategy.
- Utilise Red View and LEAP to efficiently manage files, track matter progress, and maintain accurate client records
- Provide clear, strategic legal advice tailored to client needs.
- Draft court documents, affidavits, and correspondence.
- Prepare and file documents through relevant court portals.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
- Maintain strong client relationships with a high standard of care and professionalism while ensuring timely communication and file management.
About You
- Admitted to practice in Recent South Wales
- Strong knowledge of Australian family law principles and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and as part of a team
