Little Genius Cottage is a privately owned and family run. Our aim is to provide early childhood care and education in a safe, welcoming, adopting and nurturing environment.

A fantastic chance has arisen for a full-time Diploma/Studying ECT or an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our team as Assistant Director, who wants to make a difference and see their efforts rewarded, who wants to help create a dynamic learning environment and culture within an early education setting.

We are happy to train you up in management, but will need a candidate who has experience, highly reliable, kind and wants to learn. The ideal candidate has the ability to motivate and inspire a successful team of educators, whilst communicating effectively with parents and creating program plans. You have to be organised and have the ability to discuss and resolve problems and able to embrace technology.

About you:

- ECT Qualified or working towards a Bachelor in Education/Teaching (Early Childhood). If you have finished your diploma we can help you enrol into ECT studies part time.




- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within Early Childhood.
- Ability to lead and train staff - you may have gained this from your room leader role including ensuring quality standards are met.
- Ability to design and implement learning programs (highly desired)
- Practical knowledge of National Quality Standards.
- Passionate and committed to high qualify of early childhood and education.
- Excellent communication skills and leadership skills.
- Current First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
- Current Working with Children Check.
