Are you a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable professional with strong collections experience looking for your next opportunity? We’re on the hunt for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our energetic team in Woolloongabba on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role has a strong focus on collections and debtor management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building client relationships while ensuring outstanding accounts are collected in a timely manner. Role Responsibilities:
High-volume invoice generation and client delivery
Proactive collections activity to ensure overdue accounts are paid within agreed terms
Managing customer accounts and maintaining debtor ledgers
Following up outstanding invoices via phone and email
Resolving payment disputes and collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve timely outcomes
Managing client enquiries and providing timely resolutions
Account reconciliations
Claim management
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring attention to detail at all times
Collaborating with internal teams to support the broader finance function What We're Looking For:
Minimum 3 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Collections role
Demonstrated experience managing collections and debtor management activities
Confidence communicating with customers and negotiating payment outcomes
Experience working with Business Central (highly regarded but not essential)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
