Appliances R US is seeking an experienced and customer-focused service technician in perth metropolitan with great interpersonal and communication skills to join their growing team. Immediate start.
The Position
This position is responsible for delivering quality repairs and a high level of customer service to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Get hands-on servicing and repairing white goods such as washing machine, dishwasher, fridges, oven etc.
- Follow work health and safety practices to keep everyone safe and sound
- Engage with customers, providing them with expert advice on servicing outcomes and processes
- Management of van stock
Experience and Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications and/or hands-on experience in repairing household appliances
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in appliance repair is required
Skills and requirements
- Prior experience in a service environment is highly valued.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude—experience as a service technician is a plus.
- Proficient in the protected operation of hand and battery-powered tools.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 20kg.
- Computer literate
- Valid Australian driver's licence with clean driving record required
- Car licence (C class) is required
- Must pass police background check
- Must be eigible to work in australia
