Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced RIS/PACS Application Support Analyst to join the Northern Imaging Victoria team. Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our six main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.
About the Role: The RIS/PACS Application Support Analyst role at Northern Imaging Victoria (NIV) is an experienced individual responsible for the daily management of RIS/PACS applications. Leveraging industry experience and technical expertise,
the successful candidate will provide regular technical and non-technical solutions advice and outcomes to the business to help optimise workflows and enhance outcomes.
Grading will be negotiated based on experience.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A minimum of One to two years’ experience working in a hospital or private radiology or other healthcare setting
- Application and technical knowledge of RIS’ (like Karisma, Visage or similar)
- Application and technical knowledge of Voice Recognition systems (like Fluency, PowerScribe or similar).
- Application and technical knowledge of PACS (like AGFA, Intelerad or similar).
- Demonstrates decision making and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities either individually or as part of a team.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels within internal and external stakeholders.
- Physical ability to perform all examinations and normal associated tasks (including manual handling skills and experience).
- Skills to act as an appropriate and effective role model and be involved in a work culture that reflect the organisational values through demonstrated professional behaviour and interactions with patients/clients and employees.
- Demonstrated attitude of an openness to learn, grow and change.
