About The Role The Product Owner reports to the Product Manager and leads the delivery, strategic oversight, maintenance and continuous improvement of assigned Education Management System (EMS) applications across South Australian Government schools and preschools.

The Product

Owner ensures the platform operates effectively and continues to meet the needs of users and the business by organising support activities, identifying improvements, and undertaking project-related tasks within established guidelines.

Through effective coordination and specialist expertise, the Product Owner supports customer-focused service delivery and operational improvements. The Product owner works collaboratively with schools, preschools, business teams, and external providers to maintain service standards, implement enhancements, and contribute to departmental goals for quality educational solutions.

Qualifications

Essential: Nil.

Desirable: Degree or other qualification in information technology/business or relevant industry.





Special conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration

ASO7 $116,089 - $125,490 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
