Dental insurance The Assembly Technician should be able to learn quickly and will have responsibility for assembling multiple types of valves. The Assembly Technician will be cross trained to perform assembly functions on all valves/products. Cross training will include the assisting on all products as well as duties in the machine shop and mold shop when needed. In addition, adherence to a job rotation schedule is required.
Essential Functions
Assemble and label all valves/products such as relief valves, ball valves, pressure regulators, etc. ranging anywhere from ½” to 4”
Assemble and label all valves/products following specific specifications and work instructions
Must work with all rubber seals, including EPDM, VITON, Teflon, Aflas, PFA and Kalrez
Must work with all body materials, including PVC, CPVC, PP, GPP, NPP, PVDF, TF, and VP
Assemble quality products that are ready for testing/shipping
Cross train to be able to assemble all types of valves and products
§ Follow all safety guidelines as outlined in the company safety manual
§ Perform other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications
§ High School diploma or GED required A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as an Assembly Technician or similar position
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
Impeccable attention to detail
§ Able to stand for more than 4 hours at a time
§ Able to lift 15 lbs. or more An analytical mind with valuable math skills
Great communication and interpersonal abilities
Must be reliable and trustworthy
Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met
