Our client is a well-established business based in the South-West Sydney corridor, and they're on the hunt for a hands-on Assistant Accountant to join a close-knit, high-performing finance team. This isn't a "sit in the corner and reconcile one ledger" kind of role.

You'll get genuine exposure across multiple entities, real variety in your day-to-day, and direct access to a Finance Manager who's invested in developing your technical skills.

The role will see you:

- Take ownership of reconciliations, journals and reporting across multiple entities as part of the month-end cycle
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to support better business decisions
- Provide backup across payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed




- Help manage cash flow and working capital reporting
- Support tax/GST compliance, audit requirements and other statutory obligations
- Spot opportunities to tighten up processes and reporting accuracy along the way

What you'll bring:

- Part Qualified or Qualified CA/CPA
- Confidence working across multiple entities and juggling competing deadlines
- Solid Excel skills; ERP system exposure
- A proactive, detail-focused approach and strong communication skills
