Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, this role will play a key role in supporting month-end reporting, reconciliations, accounts payable activities, fixed asset accounting, and regulatory compliance requirements. You will work closely with finance colleagues, business stakeholders, and external service providers to ensure high standards of financial control and reporting.
Key responsibilities include
· Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register, including acquisitions and disposals.
· Review and process corporate credit card transactions and employee expense claims.
· Support accounts payable processes, including invoice approvals and supplier enquiries.
· Prepare and reconcile accounting journals accurately and on time.
· Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts.
· Assist with month-end reporting and review of business unit results.
· Liaise with outsourced finance service providers regarding day-to-day activities.
· Support tax compliance and reporting obligations.
· Provide broader administrative and accounting support to the Finance team as required
What are we looking for?
· A degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
· Progress towards CPA or CA qualifications (or a desire to commence).
· At least 3 years' accounting experience.
· Strong SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
· Understanding of Australian and New Zealand regulatory requirements.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Robust organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
· High attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
· Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
