As our service continues to grow, we're excited to announce that our Assistant Director position is now a dedicated standalone leadership role, no longer combined with the Educational Leader position. This investment reflects our commitment to strengthening leadership support across the service, allowing our Assistant Director to focus on leading people, supporting operations and mentoring educators while working alongside our dedicated Educational Leader.

About the Role

This is a unique leadership position that combines dedicated off-the-floor leadership responsibilities with time working alongside educators in ratio. We believe the best leaders remain connected to children, families and their teams while also having the time to coach, mentor and lead continuous improvement.

You'll work closely with our Director and Educational Leader to:

- Inspire, mentor and support educators to achieve best practice.
- Build a positive, high-performing team culture.
- Support the day-to-day operations of the service.




- Foster meaningful relationships with children and families.
- Champion quality practices and continuous improvement.
- Lead by example through collaboration, reflection and coaching.

- Is flexible to work a rotating roster, including opening and closing shifts, ensuring a member of the leadership team is available throughout the day. Our Director and Assistant Director intentionally work opposite ends of the day to provide consistent leadership support for our educators, children and families.
