About the company

Our client is an established Australian almond producer with vertically integrated orchard and processing operations. The business supplies domestic and international markets and continues to invest in orchard improvement, operational capability and its people.

About the role

Working with the Farm Manager and site leadership team, you will influence operational planning, workforce performance, safety and cost control at a large almond orchard near Piangil. You will balance visible field leadership with administration and deputise for the Farm Manager when required.

Duties

- Lead daily and seasonal operational planning
- Develop permanent, contractor and seasonal workforce capability
- Drive safe delivery of horticultural, machinery and harvest programs
- Inform decisions through accurate budgets, cost control and reporting




- Support site improvements and act for the Farm Manager when required

Skills & experience

- Demonstrated farm-management or equivalent operational leadership experience
- Robust workforce leadership across practical agricultural operations
- Sound judgement, communication and problem-solving capability
- Competence in administration, financial controls and Microsoft Excel
- Current driver’s licence and strong safety leadership
