Our client, a long‑established Gold Coast accounting firm, is seeking an assistant practice manager to play a pivotal role between client services and practice management, ensuring smooth daily operations across the practice.

The Role:

- Managing workflow coordination, job scheduling and team resourcing
- Preparing client communications, documentation and correspondence
- Delivering timely and professional client service while supporting day‑to‑day office operations
- Supporting daily practice operations to ensure everything runs efficiently
- Providing administrative support to partners and senior accountants
- Managing workflow coordination, job scheduling and team resourcing




- Assisting with onboarding recent clients and maintaining accurate client records
- Helping improve internal systems, processes and practice‑wide initiatives

About You:

- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in administration, office coordination, or practice support in professional services
- Strong organisational, multitasking and problem‑solving skills
- Tech‑savvy with proficiency in Excel and cloud‑based systems (FYI, Xero Tax, MYOB Practice Manager)
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Positive, proactive mindset and desire to support a collaborative, high‑performing team
- Experience using the ATO and ASIC portals services experience highly regarded
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
