The Opportunity The successful candidates will be responsible for the daily action of compliance and quality control, including checking produce quality and completing quality assessments for inward product, raw product and final product. Additionally, the Assistant Supervisor / Quality Officers will assist with managing the daily operations of their assigned area, including leading the team in the absence of their supervisor.
About You To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- Extensive relevant practical experience in a quality control position in the food industry.
- An understanding of produce specifications, quality control techniques and food safety standards.
- A sound understanding of food packing processes.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills and strong work ethic.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to give clear direction to staff.
- The ability to focus on efficiency, quality and best practice.
- The ability to manage time and work to tight deadlines, including managing multiple priorities to achieve quality assurance objectives in a high-pressure environment.
This is a full time role, with a span of hours of 6am to 6pm and days of work that will be from Monday through to Saturday (on a rotating roster).
